I. Login to Helium 10

  1. Go to the Helium 10 login page.
  2. Log in using the credentials provided for this software.

II. Install the Chrome Extension

  1. Go to the Helium 10 Chrome Extension Installation page.
  2. Click Install.

III. X-Ray - Amazon Product Research

  1. With the Amazon search results page open, click the Helium 10 icon on the right side of the page.
  2. Click Xray - Amazon Product Research.

  1. A window will pop up showing all the products based on the keyword search as well as other relevant information, such as:
    1. Sales - estimated number of sales over the last 30 days. Calculated as the # of sales multiplied by the price.
    2. Revenue - estimated revenue over the last 30 days
    3. Ratings - Amazon star rating
    4. Review Count - total number of reviews
  2. You can sort these columns from highest to lowest to better identify the top-performing or low-performing products.

  1. You have the option to modify the columns to include only specific information in your view based on your preference.

IV. Black Box

  1. Log in to the Helium 10 website.
  2. Click on Tools > Black Box.

  1. Search for products by filling out the respective fields as needed. The most common ones are:
    1. Title Keywords - product title keyword search only
    2. Review Count - total number of customer reviews
    3. Review Rating - Amazon customer review from poor (1) to outstanding (5)
    4. Price - price at which the product is sold

a. Competitors

  1. While on the Black Box page, click on the Competitors tab.
  2. Enter your product’s ASIN in the ASIN field.
  3. Add filters on the different criteria available to refine your search.

b. Other tabs in Blackbox

  1. The Products tab is set up for initial, broad product searches, based primarily on criteria for a specific product.
  2. The Keywords tab is set up to help you find potential product niches, based on the keywords users are using to search for products.
  3. The Niche tab is set up to search top products appearing for a specific search term. For example, it allows you to find products to sell within a specific niche by applying criteria to the top products appearing for that search term.
  4. The Product Targeting tab is set up to help you find the products that appear in Amazon's "Frequently Bought Together" or "Customers Also Bought" sections of a product listing. You can use the results to choose which products to target in your Amazon PPC campaigns.

V. Magnet

  1. Log in to the Helium 10 website.
  2. Click on Tools > Magnet.

  1. In the Find Suggestions tab, enter the keyword you’d like to search.
  2. Click Get Keywords.

  1. If a small window pops up asking if you’d like to run a new search, click Run New Search.

  2. When the search results appear, you can:

    1. Click the ‘open in a new tab’ icon to the right of the Keyword Phrase to open the search results in Amazon using that keyword.
    2. Sort the different columns such as Keyword Sales by highest to lowest or lowest to highest based on your preference.
